As a Kansas resident who worked 100% remotely for a Missouri employer, only Kansas State taxes were withheld from my income.  Do I need to file a Missouri tax return since my employer is in Missouri?  If so, when I fill out the MO form and mark remote work, I continue to get an error stating that the remote work cannot be larger than the income and the numbers are the same and it wants me to pay the full taxable amount to Missouri which does not seem right.  I see others have had this issue with no luck to get around it. I don't want to pay Missouri when i don't owe them.  Please advise - using TT 2024

No, you do not need to file a Missouri return. Since you worked for the company in Kansas and you are a Kansas resident, you will only file a Kansas Resident Return.
