NY Residency status

I lived in Bronx NY from 01/01/2025 to 05/41/2024 then permanently moved to GA. For tax purposes am I a part-year resident or nonresident of NY for tax year 2024?

    It depends. If you just moved there in January, you may have been working a temp job or vacationing. You could be a nonresident. Alternatively, if you had been living there, you would be a part year resident.
