I am a resident of NY and work in NY.  My wife is a non-resident as she lived and worked in TX all of 2024.  On the NY State form, I cannot find any place to "allocate" her wages to be NOT NY.  Can someone help?

You can file joint federal but separate NY return. We recommend you use the TurboTax Desktop software version to do this because you'll only need to pay for one TurboTax product (you can file up to five returns).

You'll only need to prepare NY state return since TX has no income tax.

I forgot to mention that TX does not have a State Income Tax.  Does that matter?
