State tax return over reports interest from us obligations. HOw can I overwrite it?

    Federal obligations are always state exempt. Go back to where you entered the information in the federal program. Check to see if you selected that some of the income is state exempt. I believe that you exempted the income from the state as an adjustment and this created the overreporting.
