Taxes cannot be efiled unless I qualify for WFTC

I see that others have had this issue and its been resolved for them, but I do not qualify for this tax credit, and the online program still will not let me efile my state taxes or federal taxes at all because of this form. I cannot delete the form or the state as a whole to try and file my taxes. I upgraded to live assistance just to see if I could contact someone about the issue and was told to just mail in for federal and state or wait for the IRS to potentially change something on their side.

Does anyone have any tricks that worked for them to get rid of this form on their return and be able to efile?

If you don't qualify for this, you can delete your state return by following the steps below:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Select State Taxes from Tax Home.
  3. On the Status of your state returns screen
  4. Select the trashcan icon next to your state
  5. Select Delete
