Union taxes in pa

Hello,  this is my first time doing taxes working in a union.  I work for giant eagle and have union dues. Can I file this on my taxes and get any money back? Or should I not bother? Trying to get as much money as I can like everyone.

Union dues are not deductible in tax year 2018-2025.   Can I deduct union dues?

I thought in PA you could tho?

Few states allow it, but PA is one that does.  Enter them on the federal return; TurboTax will transfer them to the PA return.  

 

Where do I enter Form 2106 (Job Expenses)?

 

Here is a list of other employment related itemized deductions that may be deductible on your PA return.
