utah TC-tc40w for utah state return has an error, can the form be edited in turbotax?

Yes, you can edit it to remove the extraneous UT at the beginning.  Also be sure to include the h at the end.   You also need to use lower case for the wth for all Utah 1099's and W-2's that have withholding.   As an example,  12345678901wth since it will also reject again if the wth is in upper case.   That's a bizarre quirk that is peculiar to UT that has never been fixed in TurboTax.

To edit the form, open your return interview back up and go to the income topic in question.

If the interview is closed, and you don't know how to open it, at the Tax Home look for a link "Add a State."

That doesn't really add one, but opens the interview back up.
