I’m in the millitary and I have Tricare. They only issue a 1095-c. My federal taxes were rejected because it said I needed to enter my 1095a data. How do I get past this issue. I do not have a 1095 a

Entering/deleting a 1095-A:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Enter 1095-a in the Search box (upper right of the program screen).
  3. Click on Jump to 1095-a
  4. Answer NO when asked if you have a Form 1095-A.  Or delete the Form 1095-A if listed.

If that does not solve the issue:

To delete a Form:

  1. Open your return.
  2. In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
  3. On the Tools Center page, click on Delete a form
  4. A list of forms will appear. Locate the Form 1095-A and click Delete next to it.
  5. On the next screen, click Delete Form

Under the Deductions & Credits tab in the Medical >> Affordable Care Act section, you need to select NO. It would appear that YES was incorrectly selected. If you have TriCare then you do not have a MarketPlace heathcare plan and are not required to. Additionally, you did not receive unemployment either, if you were AD/MIL the entire tax year.
