TurboTax will not accept the Fed ID number that is on my 1099-R   Now what do I do?

    Are you trying to make a manual entry ?    If so delete the form and try again.

    Is it from DFAS  ?  If so, they issued 1099-R forms with the last digit missing...and are re-issuing the affected 1099-R forms.

    what is the exact Fed ID number you are using for DFAS ?
