Hey so I'm completing my taxes but it won't let me file them because a box12 hasn't established and it wants me to put in my new work location, I am also active military?

Do you have numbers and a code in Box 12 on your W-2?

If there is code "P" in box 12, that is for moving expenses which for military is not taxable.

If you moved, enter the new location.

Be sure you selected your Home Of Record for you (and your spouse) as your residency in the "My Info" interview in the Personal section.
