How can I add my Military Annuitant Pay to my 2021 tax return?

This 1099-R is the only reason I file taxes, so I must include it.

Please follow these steps to enter your 1099-R for your military annuity:

 

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”
  2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
  3. Answer "Yes" to "Did you get a 1099-R in 2021?"
  4. On the "Let's import your tax info" screen scroll down and "Change how I enter my form"
  5. Select "Type it in myself "
  6. Enter your 1099-R information and TurboTax will walk you through follow-up questions.
