How do i know if turbotax reduced my state owed taxes for the military pay I received since my state does not tax that portion of income?

You will have to check your return before e-filing. Here is a TurboTax Help article with instructions to view before you file or print.

 

Each state lists a different kind of income on a separate line. Look for the line for pensions, retirement, or 1099-R. Compare the amount with that of your tax return and see if the taxable amount has been reduced.
