Question

I live in New Mexico and paid state taxes to Virginia. I am currently in the military and do not know what to do

if your Home of Record is Virginia, then you need to file a Virginia state return. If you are stationed in New Mexico and have no other income other than your military pay, then you do not to file a New Mexico return
