Question

If I was Active Duty Military half of 2019 do I need to change my personal info so that it does not say "Active Duty Military All Year"? My end of active service was May

Yes, please change it to "left the military in 2019".

 

Please follow these instructions to make the change:

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
  2. Click "Work on other tax breaks"
  3. Click "My Info" from the left side of your screen
  4. Click “Edit” next to your name
  5. Scroll down and click "Continue"
  6. Select  "left the military in 2019"
