I am having a dilemma for filing my w-2 from military pay. I have been on IRR and was ordered to attend a muster. I received a pay check for a certain amount of money. Would that be considered active duty military seeing i received orders from a military command or would that not be designated in my ordeal as active military?

Yes according to this military IRR linkIRR members are liable for immediate recall to active duty and are considered to be in  “active status. If you view that link, look on page 7 and what it says about Standby Reserves.
