My husband and I are both military, filing separately. When I go to edit spouse information, it won't let me select that he is a member of the armed forces. What do I do?

When filing separate, the only information asked for and the only information you need to provide on your return for the spouse, is their full name and SSN. That's it.
May I ask why you are filing separate returns? For a married couple to file separate is always more costly tax wise. When a married couple files separate, they both "automatically" disqualify for a large number of deductions and credits they would otherwise qualify for if they filed joint.
If your reasons are personal and nobody's business, then please just ignore my curiosity.
