My personal info summary says "Active Duty All Year" even though I clicked the option "Joined The Military In 2020"

This entry is informational and will not affect your tax return.  Once you indicate that you serve/served in the armed forces, the correct interviews will generate. 

 

The entries you make for your pay (W2) and then if applicable, answers to military questions in the state interview will affect those returns.
