Question

My State Tax return is showing military but we are not. How do I fix that?

Typically this indication is due to answering "Yes" to the military affiliation question in the federal "My Info" section.  Navigate to the "My Info" section in the left hand menu and edit your personal information and then your spouse's if applicable. Answer "No" you are not a member or former member of the US Armed Forces.
