Because South Carolina does not tax military reserve income, expenses related to National Guard income that you deducted on your federal return must be added back to the income taxable in South Carolina?

Did you deduct any military reserve expenses on your federal tax return?  If you did, you must add the deducted amount to the income you report on your SC state return.
