Question

What state do I file in if my husband is active duty military? His home of record is Florida, we both live and work in Hawaii, and my drivers license is from NC.

You only need file a federal tax return.  You do not have to file in any state.  Here's why:

1)  Your income as a military spouse is not taxable by Hawaii.   https://files.hawaii.gov/tax/news/announce/ann19-01.pdf

2.  Federal law allows you to file as a resident of your servicemember spouse's State of Legal Residence, which is Florida - a no-income-tax state.
