Where is West Virginia Military Incentive credits found?

Go to your West Virginia state interview. Navigate to the screen entitled "Uncommon West Virginia Credits".

The first credit listed is probably "West Virginia military incentive credit". Answer "Yes" at the bottom; the next screen will let you enter the amount for the military incentive credit.

Note that this credit is calculated on Schedule J (https://tax.wv.gov/Documents/TaxForms/schedule-J.pdf) and that TurboTax does not support calculating or creating this credit.

The Learn More instructions are:

"Turbo Tax does not support the forms for these West Virginia credits.

To claim them, you'll need to:

1. Get the forms directly from the West Virginia Department of Revenue.
2. Fill out the forms and then enter the credit amounts on the screen behind this one.
3. Include the credit forms when you file your West Virginia return." 

It appears that you will need to print and complete the Schedule J, then print and mail your state return, attaching Schedule J to it.
