Why am I paying turbo tax live when i’m active military?

None of the Live products are included in the free military discount.  I'll furnish a FAQ link below on how to remove the Live feature so it won't charge you.

If you qualify for the free military discount (for E1-E9 active duty and reservists with a military W-2 from DFAS), you can use any of these Online TurboTax products:  regular Free Edition, Deluxe, Premier, or Self-Employed Edition.   But no add-ons such as Live, MAX benefits, etc.

Live Basic is essentially Free Edition plus a paid add-on feature allowing on-demand access to a tax expert CPA/EA during return preparation and a review of your return prior to filing.
