Why do I have to type in my military w2? Isn't DFAS a turbotax partner?

No, they're not. DFAS does not partner with non-government entities. (Unless something has changed since my day, and it very well could have.)

How do I Import DFAS Info?

TurboTax was able to import W-2s from DFAS last year, but this was disconnected.   For this year, you will need to manually enter your W-2.   TurboTax is working to re-establish this.    We apologize for this inconvenience.

I was reading W-2's, while thinking 1099-R's. 🙂
