You may have missed the checkbox in the W-2 form follow up questions: Login to your TurboTax Online Account. Select Take me to my return. Select Federal from the left side menu. Click Edit/Add next to Job (W-2). Click Edit to the right of your W-2 form. Continue through the first two screens. On the third screen there is a checkbox for Active Duty at the top of the list.
