Refund Advance- credit karma closed account

Has this happened to anyone else?
I get a refund advance every year, never have had issues, today I went to check credit karma and it’s showing my account as closed. After half the day on the phone with turbo tax and credit karma they are telling me they closed my account THE SAME DAY I SET IT UP TO HAVE MY REFUND DEPOSITED INTO. Credit karma tells me they can see my $1000 refund advance in the account ?!? But cannot open the account back up for me or open me a new one for two weeks. They claim they will mail me a check but cannot give me any sort of confirmation number. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m genuinely concerned all my money has been lost to credit karma.

So I knew the banking information and I had it linked to my bank account. I was able to transfer the money into that account.

They closed my spending account the day I was approved for my advance and I didn't know at 1st and my credit score is good!

Yes this happened to me I just filed my taxes I used credit karma spend account last year no problem well this year I go to check it after I filed this year it said my account is closed now idk what gonna happen to my money

If you e-filed:

Banking information for direct deposit is wrong or closed

If you entered incorrect banking information for your refund, you can change it if your return is rejected. If it is accepted, however, it is too late to change it. The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS. Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return. Expect a delay of at least a couple of weeks to receive your refund.

If your refund is sent back to the IRS—- make certain that the address you entered on your Form 1040 is correct. And…open all mail, even if it looks like junk mail.

Same crap is happening to my wife right now. They issued her a tiny advance, the government direct deposited a large refund and they closed her account.

This makes NO sense as the advance was SECURED by the refund. We too spent half the evening being routed to endless chat waits and untrained/ uninformed techs. It was against our better judgment to use CK, now we know

If your account was closed either on the day you received the Refund Advance or right before you received it, then you will receive a check in the mail.

Yes credit karma money acct. was closed without informing me of this. They still accepted my tax refund and placed it in a closed save acct. that I have not been able to link an external bank acct. to. I have been otp with these people since the 26th of February and today is March 3rd..On Friday I told the agent to send it to me in a paper check. It's now Monday and they haven't sent it.!!! I have a complaint filed with BBB.
