IRS Portal Now Open; Status Shows Turbo Tax Didn’t Give Enough Info For Me To Receive Payment

So everyone knows the IRS Portal is now open for you to adjust your direct deposit information if you need to. First it will let you check your status-then it may allow you to update your payment method. I was able to do so successfully. I was not immediately told how long it will take for the funds to come into my account.

FYI- the status of my payment originally was that they didn’t have enough information to send my payment based on my most recent tax return. So basically I got the Turbo Tax Debit Card-no advance, and not a Rush card just the normal Green Dot Turbo Tax card-and basically somehow Turbo Tax has my information all screwed up because the IRS didn’t have enough info to send me my stimulus payment. Everyone around me is getting theirs and I’m sitting here like a fool come to find out it’s because of Turbo Tax. I paid $230 to get my taxes done by them and they screwed me on both my tax refunds and the stimulus. I won’t be back to do business with them again.

Won't be getting my business again either. Turns out they definitely can put that money directly on the turbo cards our income tax came on. But no one knew that supposedly until today. After I've submitted other account info for it to deposit. And then what do you know my fiancée hit her turbo card earlier tonight. Go figure turbo, TurboTax, turbocard ect you all suck

I filed last week with the TurboTax non filers tool, and provided all information correctly including my Direct Deposit information. Was emailed an acceptance letter stating that the IRS has received my information, but that was it.

Did not receive my stimulus check via DD yesterday, and the IRS "Get My Payment" tool just gives me a “Payment Status Not Available” error.

I am unsure whether the IRS even has my info yet, if TT has sent it, and a lot of people are talking about a turbo card, but i dont know what that is. Please can someone help me understand what is going on? Thx :3

Turbo card is a prepaid debit card some filers received their tax refund on. What I'm seeing is that this ish is all mixed up and there are people receiving paper checks despite inputing their DD info and despite being told that entering DD info is our quickest option. I hope this helped a little.

I got the same message and I'm in the same predicament. I went on the IRS portal and was told everything except where to check my bank acct to make sure it's correct. I'm going to check Turbotax and see what number they have. This really sucks. I haven't had any income for a month because I can get past the busy signal all day every day for 4 weeks. I really needed that money

Same you can't even check get my payment that's messed up as well I mean TurboTax if you didn't accept The EIP just let us know asap too many customers who can't talk to anyone personally in the same situation at the moment P.s I just got my taxes Tuesday so the irs should definitely have my direct deposit info

Probably why mine hasn't been deposited. Plus Every time I try and access portal to update info, it says try again 24 hrs information dont match their records. For 72 hrs now.

I have also used TurboTax for years and i have always bern a satisfied customer. I always use the free edition until this year i had to upgrade to deluxe edition so i could get an extra tax credit where i pay for my luttle boys daycare. Well , i still havent gotten my original refund or my stimulus, and i filed on January 29th, i finally got a letter on march 9th that my taxes were being reviewed, and now i have no ckue where any of my money is . I know i will use taxslayer next year or maube even just file for free on irs website ,its so easy to do so why paty a crooked company like TurboTax whrn something happens like this all they say is its out of our hands . Then wjy pay for audit protection and all thethings they say theyll do for you , scam, id say they willnot even have a business next year all because of mismanagement , and if the irs didnt have enough info for m my direct deposit then TurboTax falsified documents because my routinf bumber and account number on my 1040 that they supposedly gave to irs is the same as my turbo card so jow do they not have that info ??????

I think that all of us will get tbe money , but it will be delayed because of turbotax , luckily i am still working and could use the money but do not need it . I am a single father of 2 little boys 2 and 3 yrs old , so this is very invonvenient for me , byt what we should all do is stick to our guns , and never use turbotax again and make sure that this big scam never happens again ive gotten 50 emails today from turbo about dumb **bleep**, but they could xare less about letting us know about our money , so when you get your money do not say well i got it now im happy and then just go right back yo TurboTax next year lets make sure they and their employees pay for this mishandling of our personal info. Same. I received my state and federal refunds. However the stimulus website says there is no information on my stimulus. On turbo tax when i do the stimulus calculator I should be receiving $1200. I have Bank of America, which means I should have received it immediately. This is the first time I've used Turbo Tax and they have lost my business forever
